On November 21, 2024, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Andrew Martin with one count of murder.

 

The alleged act occurred in the Town of Woonsocket between July 1, 2024 and July 7, 2024. The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on December 4, 2024, in Providence County Superior Court.

 

Nasir Dupont (age 21)

On November 21, 2024, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Nasir Dupont with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the City of Providence on April 10, 2023. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on December 11, 2024, in Providence County Superior Court.

 

Kyle Delaney (age 49)

Glouster, RI

On November 21, 2024, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Kyle Delaney with three counts of first-degree child molestation and three counts of second-degree child molestation.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the Town of Glocester on diverse dates between November 24, 2015 and January 31, 2020. The Glocester Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on December 11, 2024, in Providence County Superior Court.

 

Ryan Narvaez (age 29)

On November 21, 2024, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Ryan Narvaez with one count of first-degree sexual assault, one count of third-degree sexual assault, and two counts of conspiracy to commit sexual assault.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the Town of Johnston on February 19, 2024. The Johnston Police and Providence Police Departments conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on December 11, 2024, in Providence County Superior Court.

 

Exevyer Pena (age 20)

On November 21, 2024, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Exevyer Pena with one count of first-degree sexual assault, one count of aiding and abetting a first-degree sexual assault, one count of third-third degree sexual assault, two counts of conspiracy to commit sexual assault, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the Town of Johnston on February 19, 2024. The Johnston Police and Providence Police Departments conducted the investigation.

Stephen Peters (age 52)

The alleged act occurred in the Town of Scituate on December 30, 2023. The Scituate Police Department conducted the investigation.

Current forecasts show the storm will bring heavy rain and flooding to Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands today. The National Hurricane Center says Ernesto will then head northward and into the Atlantic.        A former Colorado clerk is facing up to 22 years in prison for election tampering. Tina Peters was convicted yesterday and will be sentenced in October. Prosecutors argued she let an unauthorized person access Mesa County's voting equipment in 2021 and make a copy of hard drives, as well as pictures of passwords, and then tried to cover it up.        U.S. gymnast Jordan Chiles will not have her appeal heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. On Sunday, the International Olympic Committee said it would take away her bronze medal because of a scoring error. Monday, USA Gymnastics said in a statement that it was notified that CAS rules don't allow for an arbitral award to be reconsidered.
