The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments today on whether businesses may turn down services to same-sex weddings. Lorie Smith, a Colorado designer, wants to decline to create wedding websites for same-sex couples because those marriages are in conflict with her religious beliefs. However, state officials say the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act goes for all businesses, making it illegal to refuse public services based on "disability, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, or ancestry." The state says its law is about equal access and it doesn't suppress any messages Smith's business might express. A ruling is expected by June of 2023.        The founder and former CEO of FTX is admitting he "screwed up." Appearing on ABC This Week, Samuel Bankman-Fried seemed to take full responsibility of the collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange last month. Authorities say the widespread outage in Moore County happened after two electrical substations were damaged by gunfire Saturday night. It's being investigated as a "criminal occurrence."       California Lawmakers will meet today for a special session as Governor Gavin Newsom is calling on lawmakers to pass a price gouging penalty on oil companies and pushing forward new efforts to increase transparency and accountability on oil companies. As of Saturday, gas prices were at the lowest level since late February.       Former big league first baseman Fred McGriff has been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame by a contemporary era committee. On Friday, the band announced Tyler had fallen ill and cancelled their Las Vegas show just two hours before they were set to perform.
